
THE BOARD
Our Board takes overall responsibility for how Active Prospects is run. They decide on policies and strategic direction, monitor performance and approve our annual budgets and accounts. Because Active Prospects is a charity, they also act as our trustees.

Mara BroomeChair of Active Prospects. Former civil servant whose career included policy analysis and development, strategic planning, and financial management and planning. In addition is Chair of the Oxted, Limpsfield and District Housing Association, and undertakes voluntary work for Age UK. (2010) |

Tracey Barney MCIPDWith 30 years of commercial experience in the food and drink sector. From 2010 to 2016 as the Managing Director of a successful Dairy business operating in the UK and Ireland. Currently working with small to medium size businesses to develop their talented teams and to support them where needed with practical employment law advice. Also a CIPD Mentor dedicated to helping CIPD members identify areas for personal growth through constructive challenge, breaking down barriers, helping view work place situations differently and putting in place bespoke development plans. Darren Levy
Over 26 years experience of delivering and improving services across private, public and third sector settings and with a track record of successful business transformation and sector leading performance while identifying and utilising commercial opportunity and growth. Spent a number of years as an executive director at CityWest Homes where he led a change programme which rapidly increased customer satisfaction and business performance, and was recognised nationally for its achievements. David Walsh
A highly experienced Director and Chief Officer in the Registered Provider (Housing Associations) Charitable and Local Government Sectors, with wide ranging and detailed housing, asset management, development, financial and commercial experience gained in a career predominantly at a senior level spanning a period of more than 30 years. More recently a consultant specialising in change management, improving organisational performance, interim management roles and developing resident involvement opportunities. In a voluntary capacity has Chaired the Board of a rural housing provider in Hampshire, former member of the Institute of Housing and has a Bachelor of Science Honours degree. (2016) |

Formerly a businessman, with a professional background in accounting and management consultancy, and experience of a wide-range of business sectors. Since retiring has been a NED of a local NHS Acute Care Trust and a school govenor. Currently assists three local charities, advising on finance and risk management(2016)
