Making a Difference
The Pro-Active Committee meeting on the 08 December looked at planning for the 2016 Annual Plan, and Prospect’s Values – this was a very vibrant and inclusive meeting, with some fantastic ideas as usual!

Everyone is really looking forward to the Christmas Glitz and Glamour event on the 14 December, and we have over 100 people coming.
This is a really exciting time to be involved in shaping the committee and the wider organisation - employees and the people we support who attend really do make a difference.

Proud to be Prospect
What an exciting time! The Pro-Active Committee and the service managers have started working with Maria Mills, CEO, and other senior managers to feed into our strategy and business plan.
One of the nicest points from last nights Pro-Active Committee meeting was a really uplifting and positive discussion where the People We Support and the staff who came with them talked about why they were 'Proud to be Prospect'.

Thank you everyone, there is clearly a lot of pride in who we are and what we do!
There are lots of other opportunities for people we support, families, staff, and other partners, to meet with Maria and other senior managers and also be involved. Please talk to your local service manager, or contact our head office if you want to know more.

Bank Holiday BBQ
A wonderful BBQ was held at one of our supported living services in Caterham to raise funds for the Fundraising Committee. They all had a wonderful afternoon in the beautiful garden with amazing food. They also raised over £100 for the Activities Fund for the people we support, who as part of the Fundraising Committee decide how it is spent.

A huge thank you to Sue, Vicky, and Gerri who helped to make this event such a great success. Everyone enjoyed it so much another event is being planned for the autumn, so watch this space!
In the Pink
August 14th was Pink day at Prospect. Lots of people turned out their wardrobes and found something pink to wear.
